Gather at the Table – Sharon Morgan and Tom DeWolf.  7:00 PM-8:30 PM

Huxley Theater, Cultural Education Center, 222 Madison Avenue, Albany, NY.

While many voices identify the problems that are an outgrowth of the legacy of the institution of slavery, responses grounded in experience offer hope that reconciliation and healing are possible in a nation rife with conflict, division, and racism.  Winners of the Phillis Wheatley Book Award for Nonfiction/Biography & Memoir, Sharon Morgan and Tom DeWolf share their experience of seeking reconciliation and healing, and what they look to for the future.  This evening event is free to all NYSCSS conference attendees whether you join us for History Happy Hour or not.
