WELCOME TO THE CAPITAL DISTRICT COUNCIL FOR THE SOCIAL STUDIES (CDCSS)! CDCSS is an organization of educators in New York's capital region with passion for the social studies. We represent the Capital District and the following New York counties: Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Washington, and Warren. Not yet a member? Membership is open to all who are interested in social studies and related fields. This includes elementary, secondary, and post secondary educators; professionals in education; professionals in related fields; those who have interest in history and social sciences; and aspiring professionals in college programs. |
