Saratoga Battlefield Teacher Workshop
The CDCSS and Saratoga National Historical Park is pleased to announce we will be co-hosting a 6-hour CTLE accredited teacher workshop on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 3 PM.
This will take place at the Saratoga NHP Visitor Center (Saratoga Battlefield).
This Workshop will include:
¨ introduction to park field trips ¨ updates on park-based educational resources ¨ Ranger-guided Saratoga Battlefield tour to build and enhance educator familiarity for your own field trips ¨ 6 hours professional development credit

Other considerations:
¨ dress for the weather, we will be going on the Saratoga Battlefield Tour Road ¨ wear comfortable but sturdy footwear, as we'll be walking at multiple Tour Road Stops ¨ bring a bag lunch and snacks, as we're 15 minutes from even the nearest convenience store ¨ CDCSS will provide bottled water, and a fill station is available at the Battlefield Visitor Center ¨ bring insect repellent and sunscreen for our time outdoors ¨ educator discounts available for school-related purchases at our Museum Store
