Capital District Council for the Social Studies (Albany, NY)
The International Center of the Capital Region is once again hosting their Annual Student Academic WorldQuest Competition on Saturday March 16th from 9:00am-1:00pm at location TBA soon.
What is the Academic WorldQuest? Founded in 2003, Academic WorldQues is a team game, testing high school students' knowledge of international affairs. In the game, four-person teams compete by answering questions divided into ten unique and engaging thematic categories. The winner is the team with the most correct answers.
Every year we are the regional hosting organization for this nationwide event, and send the highest scoring team at our event to Washington DC in April to compete for the national competition for a chance at thousands of dollars in scholarship money.
Free to enter, and the winning team has a paid trip to Washington DC for the WorldQuest National Event. If interested, and want more details to feel free to contact me at any time. If you have competed in the past this is a friendly reminder, and competition event information and team registration forms can be found below!
DEADLINE to register a team: Friday, March 1, 2019
