Can You Hear Us Now?

Using Podcasts to Educate and Entertain

Join Phil and Phil, two teachers from Canajoharie High School, as they discuss how they're using new technologies to teach and now find themselves with a regular podcast, "The Missing Chapter,"  that has grown in popularity and notoriety.

Being an educator in 2021 can be a daunting task. Aside from teaching your curriculum; using technology, developing 21st-Century skills, being creative, and navigating through the remote learning of a global pandemic, is an overwhelming job for both veteran and novice teachers alike. Creating and producing your own podcast can be both effective and rewarding. Podcasts provide an easy and unique way to convey information and material, as well as engage your student audience.

Podcasts can be easy and fun to make! Learn more about the benefits to creating your own educational podcast, as well as the logistics behind developing your own podcast, with Phil Schoff and Phil Horender, of “The Missing Chapter.”

NOTE: This session is free for all CDCSS members and $20 for non-members.  CTLE credit is available for anyone who attends the session live.
