Path Through History - Walking Tour of Albany Rural Cemetery

Albany Rural Cemetery is a place where much of our local history converges with the final resting place of many famous and some lesser-known figures who contributed greatly to our region’s history and heritage. Join Cemetery historian Paula Lemire for a walking tour of some of the Cemetery’s most notable graves and monuments.
Be sure to wear appropriate footwear (bug spray is recommended) and be prepared to walk on hilly and unpaved terrain. Please enter through the main gate Broadway entrance (Route 32 and Cemetery Avenue), stay straight at the fork and parking is available near the Chapel. Meet in the Chapel by at least 5:30 pm.
Refreshments will be available following the tour.
