Join the CDCSS for a tour of the USS SLATER

The USS SLATER is a floating museum on a Destroyer Escort and is a privately owned non-profit, that receives no regular funding from any governmental agency. She is funded by private donations, merchandise sold in the ship’s store, and with tour proceeds. Every dollar earned goes directly back into the restoration and preservation of the ship.
Aboard the USS SLATER you’ll get to walk in the footsteps of heroes. The ship is restored to exactly how it looked in 1945, you’ll be transported back in time and learn of the Greatest Generation in the fight for their lives.
Please dress for the weather, the tour will take place rain or shine!
Tours generally last 60 minutes but plan on 90 minutes—we Social Studies folks like to ask questions!!
Cost $10 per adult, $5 per child
