JEWISH HISTORY

Free Learning, Resources, CTLE , and a Stipend!

Overview
By the end of this program, you will understand the basics of Judaism, where antisemitism came from and how it evolved over time, America’s largest wave of Jewish immigration, and what Jewish American identity looks like today. Participants will learn new strategies for engaging students with primary source documents, collaborate with fellow educators, and receive ready-to-use lesson plans and standards-driven curriculum.

Mon and Tue, July 24-25, 9am-12pm Eastern (application due by July 10)

Program Details

  • This learning track lasts lasts two days and meets for 3 hours per day (for a total of 6 hours) from 9am-12pm
  • Participants will receive a $130 stipend and a certificate for 6 participation hours upon completion of the program
  • Each Summer Institute will be capped at 15 participants
Application Process
Applications will be reviewed and participants will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each Summer Institute will be capped at 15 participants to ensure a productive cohort learning experience.
