TEACHING THE HISTORY OF THE ARAB-ISRAELI CONFLICT USING PRIMARY SOURCES

Free Learning, Resources, CTLE , and a Stipend!

Overview

In this program, you will understand the trajectory of this complex conflict – from its origins in late 19th century nationalist movements up to the present – and focus on turning points and key events along the way. Participants will learn new strategies for engaging students with primary source documents, collaborate with fellow educators, and receive ready-to-use lesson plans and standards-aligned curriculum.


Session Date

August 21-23, 9am-12pm Eastern (application due by August 8)


Program Details

  • This learning track lasts three days and meets for 3 hours per day (for a total of 9 hours) from 9am-12pm
  • Participants will receive a $200 stipend and a certificate for 9 participation hours upon completion of the program 
  • Each Summer Institute will be capped at 15 participants

Application Process

Applications will be reviewed and participants will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each Summer Institute will be capped at 15 participants to ensure a productive cohort learning experience.
